Taxpayers Fund Fannie, Freddie Exec Legal Fees
Spending $160 million to defend the executives of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac after they made millions of dollars for cooking the books would be a bit unpopular if taxpayers knew about it. The common thread about these individuals, including Jamie Gorelick, Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson? They're all Democrats. We know that because otherwise they'd be in jail for corporate fraud.
